Paskovich Hake Fillet - ‘Fish and Chips'

The method of cooking that is recommended for Hake Fillet:
Frying in a skillet, deep frying, baking



Ingredients

4 pieces of Paskovich Hake Fillet, defrosted and drained

½ cup of flour, to lightly coat the fish

140 gr. sifted flour

40 gr. corn flour

1 tsp. baking soda

1 egg

250 ml. white beer

1 tsp. salt


Method of preparation:

1. Cut the fish into slices, flour them and place them to one side.

2.Combine the flour, corn flour, baking soda and salt in a bowl.

3. Make a well in the center of the flour and add the egg and beer.

4. Mix all of the ingredients until you have a thick, smooth batter.

5. Heat oil for deep frying in a medium-sized pot.

6. Dip each portion into the batter and deep fry until golden and crispy.


Serving suggestion:

Serve with fried or oven-baked chips (French fries) .
